A dedicated industry advocate, Deborah serves as Industry Chair of MTAC and holds board positions with PostCom and the NPPC, where she champions the interests of mailers and shippers nationwide.

Fiona Machado, A/Vice President, Pricing and Costing at USPS, Fiona joined the USPS in 2013 and brings over 13 years of service. Fiona leverages her extensive Pricing and Costing experience to lead new initiatives that achieve strategic cross-functional reporting, pricing, or costing objectives. Fiona recently led the development of the July 2025 and 2024 Market Dominant price changes. Prior positions include Acting Director, Mailing and Services Pricing, Director, Revenue andVolume Reporting, Acting Manager Air Network Modeling, Manager, FinancialPrograms Compliance, and Mathematical Statistician.
Fiona holds a bachelor’s degree ineconomics and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University ofMaryland.

IMAG’s core mission isto address barriers to the efficient flow of information and goods acrossborders.
Prior toIMAG, Kate was Vice President of the Association for Postal Commerce in the mid-2000s,and she served as the editor of the award-winning trade publication Business Mailers Review for nearly adecade. She is a regular speaker at industry events and has contributedarticles to a range of industry publications, including Mail and ExpressReview and Mailing Systems Technology.
Kate is alsothe president of Muth Communications, a small business that provides a widerange of editorial and communication services to clients, focusing onconsulting, technical writing, trade reporting, white papers, and editing. She specializesin postal and logistics issues, but she has also served clients in the energyand biotechnology industries. She has written promotional material for theannual cycling races in Arlington, VA, and she has had poetry published insmall literary publications. She is a graduate of Xavier University inCincinnati.
