Join Postmaster General Louis DeJoy as he delivers remarks centered around the Delivering for America plan, for putting USPS on a positive trajectory with new opportunities for the mailing and shipping industry. The Postmaster General will update attendees on the progress to dramatically improve on-time delivery, the road to USPS financial sustainability and the multitude of strategies underway to change and improve the USPS delivery network. This engaging talk will showcase some of the organization’s highlights over the past several months, and the upcoming priorities to position USPS, and its customers, well for the future.

Session 1 | Your Community Government Services Resource
As a trusted service provider to the public learn how the Postal Service is partnering with government agencies to provide in person access to government services, including:
- Providing convenient, equitable and secure access to Government services
- Broader access for citizens & defending against fraud
- Supporting secure system/facility access
- Enabling state agencies to protect taxpayer funds and support those in need
- Existing capabilities in partnership with the federal government and states
Session 2 | Successful Governmental Partnership
Learn about how USPS quickly stood up a program to distribute COVID-19 test kits for US Citizens as part of the federal government’s response to the pandemic – and how swift collaboration with the White House and Health and Human Services enacted a team to successfully distribute test kits to 90 million households in America. Discussions will lead into how government agencies can tap into this capability to benefit future outreach and new opportunities.
Session 3 | Reaching the Citizen
The best campaign message is worthless if it fails to reach the right audience. Learn how other government agencies leveraged Informed Delivery as a channel for high-visibility communications. Learn ways to design, target, and manage campaigns to improve awareness and adoption of government services, including:
- Leveraging data analytics and mail channels to support customer retention and growth
- Successful IRS partnership with Informed Delivery as a channel for high-visibility communications – alerting citizens about stimulus checks.
- How behavioral science practices can improve effectiveness of messaging to constituents/citizens – featuring IRS RAAS partnership which successfully increased tax filing in pilot communities.

Help identify future solutions and partnership opportunities in this round table format where each table will include a moderator and facilitator to engage and capture ideas and solutions where partnership and collaboration can be most beneficial. Each participating governmental agency will receive a follow-up report detailing discussion and opportunity.
